I had read "Stargirl" and this after finishing this book I found it very intiresting. Never have I read a book with such a unique character. Stargirl is such a confident and carefree person, to even have the name "Stargirl" already puts the title in as an intiresting book. In the end Leo accepts her for who she is and everything is back to normal but the memory of Stargirl and her weird antics are still remembered. I really enjoyed this book because it's about a girl who is tremendously confident about herself. After reading this book, I'm inspired to be more confident about myself because I kinda see what the outciome will be.

A parody of California Girls. California Jellybeans.
I, know a bean,
with lemony flavor.
Sour, sweet and small.
There must be something in the mixture.
Sippin, lemonade,
and eating my jellybeans.
The boys, break their necks,
tryna creep at my jellybeans (oh oh)
You can travel the world...
but nothing comes close,
to my golden beans.
Once you taste the sweetness,
you'll be fallin in love (oh oh oh oh)
California beans,
we're unforgettable!
Lemon, Lime, Cherry on top!
Sun kissed beans, so hot,
we'll melt your tounge off! (oh oh oh oh oh)
CALIFORNIA... CALIFORNIA, BEAAANS!
CALIFORNIA... CALIFORNIA, BEAAANS!

Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli
The book that I am reading is called,"Stargirl" by Jerry Spinelli. This book is about a boy named Leo a girl named Stargirl. In the beginning of the book, Leo had moved to Arizona and had started collecting porcupine neckties. One day he got a box with porcupine neckties in them, and no one from his family had bought it for him. I wonder who it is... .Leo and Kevin have a school T.V show called Hot Seat where they interview the most intiresting people at school, and Stargirl is next. Stargirl isn't any ordinary girl. She has a rat named Cinnamon and sings "Happy Birthday" to people on their birthdays. They decide they want to interview her and find out that the name her parents named her was Susan but she said that she changed her name when she has outgorwns it... how crazy. After Hot Seat, everyone gives Stargirl the silent treatment for cheering for another team at the game. Leo also gets the silent treatment since he's her boyfriend. Everything goes downhill for Stargirl but she doesnt' seem to mind, or even notice. In the end, he recives more porcupine neckties and guess who they're from...

Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli
The book that I am reading is called, "Stargirl" by Jerry Spinelli. Stargirl is pretty weird and I can relate to her because I'm pretty weird too. She walks up to people on their birthdays with her little instument and she sings happy birthday to them. Even though I don't do that, I do walk up to random people and say "Hi!" and thats how I make new friends, just like Stargirl. Shes a cheerleader, and even though I'm not a cheerleader, I still like to cheer for my friends when they need help.
