Quotes from Homeless Bird by Gloria Whelan
"The teaching would be nothing, but my students are rude and disrespectful."
Even when you learn things, you never know the teachers point of view. You might not even notice that you're disrespecting the person that is trying to teach you the lessons of life.
"As I saw the fearful looks of the widows who were to take our place, I realized how much things have changed for me."
Koly has a brand new life now. She's now realizes what other's in her position feel like and that you never really know what you have until it's gone.

Dear Koly,
I know that it's pretty tough being forced to marry somebody that you haven't even met before, and getting married at such a young age. The worst part is to let go of your family and go live with Mehta family. They don't seem to like you, but your new sister seems to like your company! It was a smart move to hide your silver earrings in the brick wall so Ms. Mehta or anyone else in the house of secrets know. I think was a smart choice choosing not to trust anyone in the new house because I surley don't trust people I barley met. I'm sure your family loves you very much, and I too would want to go back to my family without even caring about the dishonor that I'd bring to the family. "...but I didn't see how i could live there for the rest olf my life." Hang in there, Koly. I'm sure you'll make the best out of every situation and if they play dirty, you fight back because I know that no one in the right mind would want someone else telling them what to do; especially a strong girl like you.
Sincerely,
Han
Sincerely,
Han

Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli Wrap-Up
I had read "Stargirl" and this after finishing this book I found it very intiresting. Never have I read a book with such a unique character. Stargirl is such a confident and carefree person, to even have the name "Stargirl" already puts the title in as an intiresting book. In the end Leo accepts her for who she is and everything is back to normal but the memory of Stargirl and her weird antics are still remembered. I really enjoyed this book because it's about a girl who is tremendously confident about herself. After reading this book, I'm inspired to be more confident about myself because I kinda see what the outciome will be.
A parody of California Girls. California Jellybeans.
I, know a bean,
with lemony flavor.
Sour, sweet and small.
There must be something in the mixture.
Sippin, lemonade,
and eating my jellybeans.
The boys, break their necks,
tryna creep at my jellybeans (oh oh)
You can travel the world...
but nothing comes close,
to my golden beans.
Once you taste the sweetness,
you'll be fallin in love (oh oh oh oh)
California beans,
we're unforgettable!
Lemon, Lime, Cherry on top!
Sun kissed beans, so hot,
we'll melt your tounge off! (oh oh oh oh oh)
CALIFORNIA... CALIFORNIA, BEAAANS!
CALIFORNIA... CALIFORNIA, BEAAANS!

Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli
The book that I am reading is called,"Stargirl" by Jerry Spinelli. This book is about a boy named Leo a girl named Stargirl. In the beginning of the book, Leo had moved to Arizona and had started collecting porcupine neckties. One day he got a box with porcupine neckties in them, and no one from his family had bought it for him. I wonder who it is... .Leo and Kevin have a school T.V show called Hot Seat where they interview the most intiresting people at school, and Stargirl is next. Stargirl isn't any ordinary girl. She has a rat named Cinnamon and sings "Happy Birthday" to people on their birthdays. They decide they want to interview her and find out that the name her parents named her was Susan but she said that she changed her name when she has outgorwns it... how crazy. After Hot Seat, everyone gives Stargirl the silent treatment for cheering for another team at the game. Leo also gets the silent treatment since he's her boyfriend. Everything goes downhill for Stargirl but she doesnt' seem to mind, or even notice. In the end, he recives more porcupine neckties and guess who they're from...

Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli
The book that I am reading is called, "Stargirl" by Jerry Spinelli. Stargirl is pretty weird and I can relate to her because I'm pretty weird too. She walks up to people on their birthdays with her little instument and she sings happy birthday to them. Even though I don't do that, I do walk up to random people and say "Hi!" and thats how I make new friends, just like Stargirl. Shes a cheerleader, and even though I'm not a cheerleader, I still like to cheer for my friends when they need help.

Baby-Sitter's Summer Vacation by Ann M. Martin
So far in the book, the Baby-sitters club is attending camp Mohawk. Things are going pretty well. Some girls love their cabin assignments but others are having a hard time. They have to wear the same clothes everyday (not the same exact, just the Camp Mohawk design; a tepee). There's different types of people attending Camp Mohawk: shy, funny, loud, snobby, bratty, etc. I haven't finished reading the whole book but I know that if I keep reading I'll get to see the activities and drama that will happen later on in the story. There are different age groups sharing cabins (because of the counselors and CIT's) and things are hectic. I'll hopefully finish reading by Monday.

Killing Britney
Dear Brittney, you are worst person every for killing your mom. You are an evil piece of crap. I would never kill my family just because of one person's attitude towards you. I HATE YOU, even though you're just a character.
